January 26 ~ 28, 2026 @ POSTECH
The Workshop on Algorithm for Students (WAS) is an academic workshop designed for students eager to explore and deepen their understanding of the theoretical computer science, particularly algorithms and optimization. This workshop fosters a collaborative environment where participants can enhance their own knowledge and also share their insights with fellow students who are studying similar fields.
The second Workshop on Algorithm for Students (WAS 2026) will be held in POSTECH, on January 26-28, 2026. (Host: POSTECH)
(See this site for WAS 2025.)
The workshop will start with presentations on research topics (Talks A-F) and will be followed by collaborative discussions, addressing selected problems.
For WAS 2026, the proposed collaborative research topics include the following:
Correlation Clustering and Its Variants
2-Club Cluster Deletion
Distributed Triangle Finding
Well-Separated Pair Decomposition on Realistic Graphs
Erdős-Pósa Property on Planar Graphs with Prescribed Vertices
LP Relaxation for Parity-Constrained Facility Location
