Model Theory Conference in Seoul

After the long period of pandemic, the Model Theory Conference will be held again in August 28-30, 2023 at Yonsei University in Seoul, Korea. The first Model Theory Conference was held at the same place in May, 2010. Then the Classification Theory Workshop took place at NIMS, Daejeon, Korea in August, 2014, and in July, 2017, the 15th Asian Logic Conference was held at NIMS as well.

Yonsei University, established in 1915, has been the major source of model theory research in Korea since 2005. Today, model theory in Korea is spreading out to other places including Korea Institute for Advanced Study (KIAS). This success has motivated us to organize the upcoming conference. Yonsei University is located in Shinchon, a district known for its vibrant youth culture and art. We hope all the speakers and participants will enjoy experiencing various Korean cultures during the conference.
