I’m an MS student in Electrical Engineering at KAIST, advised by Yoon Young-Gyu.
Previously, I got a Bachelor’s degree in the School of Integrated Technology at Yonsei University in 2020. During my undergraduate, I got accepted 2 papers from international conferences, 3 papers from domestic.
I was, and am research-enthusiast.
Currently, I am studying bio-imaging; Fluorescence microscopy, Image Processing, ML at KAIST.
Currently, my goal is to develop tools and systems which can acquire effective 3D volume image of the brain by fluorescence microscopy and machine learning. I want to overcome limitation (resolution, time, etc.) of acquiring 3D volume images of fluorescence microscopy by the optical system, image processing and machine learning techniques.
I am interested in not only bio-imaging but also positioning, machine learning and circuits. My undergraduate major was built as a national project to educate various major (EE, CS, MSE) and encourage students to perform research. With lots of support, I did a lab internship every vacation and experience a variety of topics. During lab internship, I studied machine learning, circuit theory, human-robot interaction and positioning. The research area for my 5 papers during my undergraduate were human-robot interaction and positioning.
