This re-charging weekend retreat will bring your body, mind & spirit into balance & harmony with carefully planned practices in Yoga focused on re-charging, re-energising, re-storing, re-leasing and so very deeply re-laxing!
Imagine for just a moment...
You wake from a deep & peaceful night's sleep to the gentle sound of birdsong (maybe the distant call of a goat). Slide out of your comfy bed, pull on your cloths and walk across to the studio, pausing only to take in the morning light, crisp air and sparkle of frost.
With views over the farm, you'll breathe, move, flow to re-connect body and breath. As the sun begins to waken the world, being surrounded by nature, seems to make savasana, that little bit sweeter.
The dining space, is so very inviting, with it's roaring fire and aromas of a freshly prepared, delicous meal.
Later, your only concern, is whether to relax in one of the lounge areas or snugs with a cup of tea and your book, take a stroll around the farm, a fresh brisk walk in the country side... explore a nearby village or slip off to have a little snooze.
Before the day winds down, the late afternoon Yoga session will stretch, strengthen, loosen & enliven you, preparing to delving a little deeper, tuning your practice in-wards, with restorative & Yin style postures.
Back in the main house, you already smell the aromas of another delicious home-cooked vegetarian meal, I wonder what's for pudding... you share stories & laughs.
Your day is rounded off with another candle-lit, guided deep relaxation. Perhaps you'll take a moment of reflection or a gaze out to the night sky, before heading back into your bed for another glorious, peaceful night's sleep!
Here's your chance to experience A COMPLETE & FULL YOGA PRACTICE.
Asanas (postures), Pranayama (breath work), Concentration/Meditation & DEEP, DEEP RELAXATION.
Morning sessions are planned to gently awaken & mobilise the body, connecting the breath, building up into a strong, yet uncomplicated, revitalising practice. Leave feeling refreshed, invigorated and energised.
Afternoon session will open with simple meditation, then a Yang style practice to "shake out the cobwebs" (so to speak). An uncomplicated, calm, yet invigorating full body practice that winds down into deeper, longer held Yin-style releasing , finishing with a guided relaxation. Feel aligned, released, nourished & held
The evenings you'll experience a powerful Yoga Nidra which will take you to the deepest state of relaxation possible. Leaving you feeling grounded, calm and peaceful ready for a restful nights sleep.
The yoga space will be infused with carefully selected aromatherapy scents and the classes with detailed examples you can seriously visualise to deepen practice, enhance mood, enjoyment and your total experience.
If you've done a bit of yoga before you'll get the most out of the sessions. You really don't need to be an expert, but it'll certainly be handy if you know your way around a sunsalutation or two. I'll offer plenty of modifications to advance or simplify your practice. Rest assured no serious levels of bendiness are required.

Potash Barns offer high class 4 star rated barns in tastefully converted Grade II listed farm buildings providing the perfect venue for a Yoga retreat.
Situated within 20 minutes of the Suffolk Heritage Coast, and a few minutes walk of the Brundish Crown Public House.
Potash Barns in its idyllic and peaceful surrounding offers a dedicated Yoga Studio which overlooks the surrounding countryside.
Be nourished with delicious, hearty and freshly prepared healthy vegetarians meals produced by our very own fabulous chef!

Potash Barns lies at the heart of deepest Suffolk in the hamlet of Brundish. Easily accessible from the north via A1/A14 or from the south via M25/A12.
You can also reach us by train direct from London Liverpool Street Station and a short taxi ride.
