As we strive to be an anti-racist organization and seek to improve your experience as a YMCA employee, it is important for our organization to solicit and understand your feelings, opinions, and perceptions regarding YMCA of Central Ohio’s work environment as it relates to race, equity, inclusion and diversity through the process of undergoing a cultural climate assessment.
This Culture Climate Assessment will help us to create a workplace where everyone receives fair treatment. It helps us ensure that employees have equal access to opportunities to reach their full potential and feel welcome and encouraged to bring their full selves to work without concern or fear of threat.
Using a racial lens, we will be gathering information from all employees across our organization through your participation in uniquely designed focus groups and a survey by third-party providers, Unifying Solutions and K Hewitt Consulting, ensuring that all information remains confidential and secure. Once all data is gathered and analyzed by Karen Hewitt, recommendations will be made to Y leadership to improve your experience as a YMCA employee. The implementation of the findings from focus groups and the survey will be operationalized into the strategic framework that will help us to reach our north star.
