enrolling/Registering your child for the 2019-2020 school year

Step 1- Determine if your child is a new student or EXISTING/returning student

A New Student is someone who has never attended YISD schools OR Has Not attended a YISD school for at least six years, but is returning for the 2019-2020 school year.

A Returning Student is a student who is currently enrolled in a YISD school OR WAS enrolled in a YISD school anytime in the last six years, and is now returning for the 2019-2020 school year.

*Note: If you are a current YISD student and are moving to a new campus (example: moving from middle school to high school), then you are a returning student, not new.

Step 2- Register your child for the 2019-2020 school year

There are TWO Parts you must complete in order to register your child

PART 1 Online Enrollment

Enrollment means you will be enrolling into the Ysleta Independent School District (not campus). This is done by creating a new account or by logging in with your current username and password to the YISD Home Access Center. Both returning students and new students must do this process. You can do this from a mobile device or any computer starting April 2, 2019.

PART 2 On-campus Registration

Registration will take place at the campus where you are enrolling your child.

You must visit the Bel Air campus in order to register for classes beginning on August 12th through the 16th.

All students, including Health Professions students, must have all required documents to start the on-campus registration process.

Important Dates:

  • April 2, 2019 - Online Enrollment (not registration) takes place.
  • August 12th - 16th On-Campus Registration
