Finishing Year 11 and leaving school can be stressful and worrying. The School Based Youth Worker can help support you during this time by offering advice on options available, helping make connections with the Pembrokeshire College Youth Worker and facilitate college familiarisation tours.
Connections can also be made with the Outreach Youth Worker who can offer support if college isn't your choice of destination.
Break and lunch time drop in sessions are held most days by the School Based Youth Worker. These sessions provide a relaxed way to have a chat with the School Based Youth Worker, ask for advice or make and appointment. Most importantly, these sessions provide a 'safe space' where young people can come alone or with their friends to relax, chat and enjoy their school breaks.
Held weekly, the After School Youth Provision provides opportunities for learners to engage in a number of after school sessions that aims to listen to the views of the young people and as much as possible provide activities that they request. This sessions provides valuable time to socialise and connect with friends in an informal, relaxed way in the familiar surroundings of school.
