Learners Voice

Learners have the opportunity to become members of their house council and the school council. These councils allow learners to have a say in decisions that affect their school lives. The councils provide a meaningful way in which pupils can voice their opinions and have their views taken into account in decisions which impact them.

Furthermore year 7 learners have the opportunity to be part of the year 6 / 7 transition council and all learners have the opportunity to become an Associate Learners Governor and represent the school council at Governor meetings.

Our school councils enable Ysgol Harri Tudur to provide leadership and development opportunities for our learners. Furthermore it helps teach our learners about democracy, local and global citizenship and accountability.

Learners in Ysgol Harri Tudur have the opportunity to become Learners Subject Leaders (LSL). The role involves LSL's gathering the views of their subject class on a key topic.
