Welcome to the Father Michael McGivney Science Department. Here, students will learn about the fundamentals of scientific principles, all the while learning critical thinking skills, problem solving skills and collaboration skills. Through lecture based lessons, and performing safe and exciting experiments, students will develop and nurture these skills that will not only allow them to succeed in science classes, but in any class they are enrolled in. Our department is committed to making science fun and engaging for all students. With commitment and dedication from both the students and our department of teachers, we promise that students will leave high school with the confidence and the skill set necessary to succeed in their future academic endeavors. At the very least, they will be able to understand all the science memes on social media.
