Final Thoughts
I would say the “Imitation Drawing”, I found that most interesting and engaging to do. I was able to use my creativity for that work and come up with something great. I wouldn’t say that I surprised myself, I knew with some projects I would do decently, and some I would do poorly, but the Imitation Drawing, was the one where I felt I did the best. When I create something that I am proud of, there is that sense of accomplishment and relief, which gives me a little boost of motivation for a little while, but that only lasts for so long of course.
First Thoughts/Goals for the Semester
I make art to put what is going on in my head into existence, such as creatures or made-up locations. I’ve always wanted to become a better artist, so I have been trying to get better at doing so. What I hope to learn and improve on is my artistic skills, being able to hone in on specific details and make things more explosive. I am more of a “silent artist,” I don’t like sharing my work specifically, not sure exactly why but it's just me.
