Teacher Training Methodology 2018-2022
In order to cover the needs of teacher training, a group of motivated and eager to learn teachers met in July 2018 to develop their skills and strategies to become competent English trainers.
Since then, we haven't stopped meeting and developing our training skills. We meet regularly during the school year and a week in July to share experience and develop training skills.

She has been working as an EFL teacher since 1998. She has worked in both, language schools and state high schools. After travelling abroad to study English, she established herself in Terrassa, where she teaches English language to ESO Students and Batchillerat students. She is really keen on project based learning with the use of the ICT. She is currently working in INS Torre del Palau where the computer based learning project started in 2000. Captivated as well by the new fashion, Gamification and GBL, and how this can be implemented in class making students be more aware of their own learning, she grew interested in Neuroscience too. She has actively collaborated with UAB (Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona) and Associació de mestres Alexandre Galí in Terrassa, where sharing the findings and experiences with other teachers is the priority. She also works as a Teacher Trainer for the Education Department in Catalonia.

Hi! I lived in America for ten years, south and north, and spent many summers of my life in the United States with my family. I suppose that's the reason why English is so meaningful for me! It's like my first language! I've been teaching English in Elementary schools for more or less twenty years! I'm a member of a wonderful teacher trainer Methodology program since 2018 in Departament d'Educació and formadora de formadors en didàctica per a l'Aprenentatge Integrat de Continguts i Llengua (AICLE).

I am an English Primary teacher and a Teacher Trainer. I have a Postgraduate in CLIL from Nottingham University. From 2001 on, I have been working in different schools and at all levels, both in kindergartner and Primary Education. I also had the experience of being the Head Teacher of a New School and here was where I started involving in working with Interdisciplinary Projects. Starting a new school from scratch gave me the great chance and challenge to get rid of books and, as it was a small school, to teach English to pupils of different ages within the same cycle. Eleven years later I am still alive! I also participated in a PELE innovation project. Currently I am in XCB and in this awesome methodological group of Teacher Trainers!

I define myself as a vocational educator who never stops learning and is always trying to best influence students, the future citizens of our society. I’ve been trained on CLIL and I’m an SDGs ambassador fond of activism, that is why I’m a devoted follower of student-centred pedagogies that promote active exploration of real-world challenges with a final impact beyond class. I’ve participated in several Global projects such as Global scholars, Cisco IOT, Goals Project and Etwinning projects. I’m an English Secondary teacher and also a Teacher Trainer. I’m always trying to swim out of the mainstream, forcing myself to be out of the comfort zone. That’s why I’ve tried to be in every possible educational environment (infant, primary, secondary & adult education) to get the best of them and grow as a teacher. I’m passionate about technology and travelling and I’m considered a quite energetic teacher, always trying to have fun for and with my students, despite their age. I’ve participated in Erasmus and Etwinning projects, being also part of different Equips Impulsors to update education.

Hello, I am a teacher. I teach English mainly, but because I am involved in several school projects, it makes me define myself as just an international teacher! I teach students from 3 to 100 years old, because I work in school, high school and I also work for Department of Tourism teaching adults. I always say that to be a teacher you need to be a good student, it means always learning in order to improve for the best of my students. I like to work with other teachers and people, that is the reason I collaborate with several institutions and schools, here and outside, because I believe that we learn by sharing and by listening to others. I am always optimistic with everything, I constantly try to find the positive side of things and help others! I coordinate several groups of teachers related to different topics, they say I am a multifaceted person. I am proud of my experience with Erasmus projects. Since I started coordinating one in 2016, I have been doing it in 7 new ones. I love collaborating with partners around Europe, meeting people and travelling with my students to discover the best of every country and to make my students practise in real contexts thanks to these projects.

I'm an enthusiastic English and German Teacher and I've been teaching in Secondary Education for 12 years now. I did my degree in German and started my teaching in Adult Education and working in "EOIs", but I ended up taking my exams in English to become a state teacher, that's why I've always been involved in foreign language acquisition and research. Reflecting on how we learn languages has become a passion and an obsession for me. I'm working in INS Pere Vives Vich since 2012. I've been involved in GEP, and CLIL projects ever since, as well as I have always promoted international projects at high-school. Giving the real opportunity to exchange views and establish bridges of communication among students from different countries has prooved me to be one of the most memorable experiences for my students. I've been coordinating Comenius and Erasmus+ projects since 2012 and nowadays I'm much more focused in being a teacher trainer. Neuroscience has been developing a lot and we can apply the results in our present Methodology with a digital framework that makes things easier and much more appealing for our students. I'm fully convinced that education and school have changed and there is no way back.
