We decided to use Tales of the Unexpected, a collection of short stories by Roald Dahl, first published in 1979 to discover Dahl's stories for adults far from his famous works for children. The stories often revolve around ordinary people who find themselves in extraordinary and bizarre situations mixed with Dahl's dark humour and surprising endings.
We thought it could be interesting to approach Dahl's stories through the use of Artificial Intelligence to know more about the author, the themes and vocabulary in his stories to make learning more fun, personalised, and accessible for our students.
