ENGLISH ON AIR VALLÈS ORIENTAL I

WHO IS IT AIMED AT?

English On Air is recommended for students in 5th and 6th grade of primary school and 1st and 2nd year of ESO, but open to other grades.

WHAT AND WHY?

It proposes a classroom work to prepare a text in English in order to elaborate an audio that will be broadcasted on Radio Educa Baix Montseny. These audios, in addition to broadcasting them live, will be published in podcast format along with a listening comprehension form.

To reinforce/extend the classroom activities of oral expression and comprehension in English.

HOW IS IT STRUCTURED?

Around themes spaced throughout the course.

The dates take into account the "tempos" of the evaluations to make it easier to have the communication and oral comprehension information worked on.

WHAT SHOULD THE AUDIO BE LIKE?

It is possible to read any type of text as long as it is of the corresponding theme and appropriate to the level of the student.

WHAT SHOULD THE COMPREHENSION FORM BE LIKE?

You can choose between two options:

Affirmation template: allows you to formulate true and false sentences. The listener has to select only those that are true.

Question-answer template: allows you to formulate closed-ended questions and give three answer options. The listener only has to select one answer for each question.
