In the Summer terms of 2025, Year 10 students from both XP Gateshead continued with their GCSE preparation studying a STEAM expedition called ‘Power to the People!’, which answered the Guiding Question: How can we use the planet's resources more sustainably?

This website hosts the students  work and learning in reposnse to the Learning Target “I can suggest viable alternative sources of energy and explain why these will offer a more secure and sustainable energy future for our planet,” and students were challenged to write an energy plan for 2040, create an online jigsaw, and write an explanatory video to be hosted on an educational website to share our thoughts.
