IPAD Deployment

Good afternoon,
We are writing to share important information about student iPads, Required Annual Updates, and Free/Reduced meals for the 2024-2025 School Year.

2024-2025 Required Annual Updates:

Please login to the PowerSchool Parent Portal to complete your required Annual Updates. If you need access to technology, we will have computer workstations available at iPad pickup for parents/guardians to complete their 2024-2025 Required Annual Updates (emergency contacts, handbooks, medical updates, etc). Annual Update Instructions are available by clicking here.

Annual updates are due by August 21, 2024 - school nurses will not be able to dispense medication to students if the Annual Updates are not complete. It is important to update any emails/phone numbers you may have changed through the Annual Updates. If you need any help, please reach out to: SISHelp@wyoarea.org and we will be happy to assist you with your PowerSchool account or in completing your Annual Updates.

The Grade 8-12 iPad Sign Up:

Please sign up for an available date and time for 1:1 iPad pickup (Grades 8 - 12). On your pick-up date please enter by the main entrance by the flagpole.

Please complete your annual updates in PowerSchool before pickup - if you need help we can assist parents during pickup.

Please complete one sign-up per student - QTY 1 slot per student.
There are seven slots every 15 minutes please be on time and prepared on your day to pick up.
Due to summer cleaning, students are NOT permitted beyond the pickup area.
Due to summer projects, pick-up dates and times are limited to the available slots.
Please do not expect to pick up without completing the signup process.

Food Services

Breakfast for all students will again be provided at no cost for the 2024-2025 school year.

In addition, we are happy to share that this school year families that qualify for reduced lunch prices will be provided lunch for free.

Lunch forms must be completed and submitted each school year

Attendance:

Late to School:

All arrivals to school after 8:05am are considered tardy. Students arriving to school after 8:05am must report to the Attendance office.
Students arriving after 9:45am will be considered absent for a half day.
- Students who participate in athletics or activities must be in school by 9:00am or they will not participate in that days athletics/activities unless prior approval was granted.
Students who acquire more than three (3) unexcused tardies in a semester will be referred to an administrator.

Absences:

- When a student is not present during homeroom, the custodial parent will receive an email, text message, and phone call indicating their absence from school.
- IF YOUR STUDENT IS ABSENT:
  - - PLEASE DO NOT call in an absence. We appreciate the communication but there is no longer an attendance line.
    - To record an absence please indicate the students name, grade, date and reason for absence in one of the below communication methods.
      - A). Provide a school issued absence note to the attendance secretary, Mrs. Jones, within 3 days of the students return to school
