NTDC will take you through a variety of steps designed to help prepare you for your foster care provider journey.
You will start with the Self Assessment, which will help you identify your strengths and opportunities for improvement.
Next, you will complete three Self-Paced Themes that introduce you to the world of child welfare and skills needed to be a successful foster care provider.
With that foundation, you will complete 14 Classroom-Based Themes that are live-hosted by staff from the Department of Family Services.
In addition to preservice training, NTDC provides resources for ongoing training.
