Wyoming Oil and Gas Conservation Commission Selects New Deputy Supervisor

Patrick Amole has been selected to fill the deputy supervisor post for the Wyoming Oil and Gas Conservation Commission (WOGCC). The position became open when Tom Kropatsch, who served as deputy supervisor for several years, was selected as the WOGCC Supervisor.

Patrick brings strong experience to the position. Having obtained a B.S. degree in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Wyoming, he worked as a Production/Reservoir Engineer with ConocoPhillips in Alaska. Patrick also worked in an engineering position with WYDOT in Rock Springs, WY. In 2017, he began his career at the WOGCC. As a Field Inspector, his duties regularly took him to the western part of the state to assist with plugging operations of deep wells. He later served as an Engineer on the engineering team before taking the position of Sr. Inspector to oversee the WOGCC’s field inspection team.

Patrick has other talents and loves. An accomplished musician, he has a background in music recording and is an accomplished photographer. Several of his photos have been featured in articles on the WOGCC website. Married to a Big Piney girl, he and his wife are the proud parents of three girls and their two dogs Henry and Scout.
