5th Grade Writing Checklist/ Rubric
Your child should be able to write a five paragraph essay/story by the end of fifth grade. Each paragraph should be five to eight sentences long, and the paragraphs should address the AR literacy standards. The students use the checklist and rubrics below as a tool while writing their pieces in class.
