Interaction International hosts transition seminars for teens and young adults who are adjusting to life in North America after living overseas. This organization has been serving TCKs and their families for over 30 years. Transit Lounge is an in-person event offered at several different locations / times during the summer.
This seminar is for MKs and TCKs who have just completed high school and are returning to the United States or Canada. Narramore Christian Foundation, a non-profit Christian ministry, has offered this unique twelve-day seminar for 43 years. This program takes place each summer on the campus of Biola University in Southern CA.
Classic ReBoot is an annual week-long re-entry retreat for MKs returning from the field, or MKs who’ve been back for a few years but haven’t experienced a re-entry or transition retreat. As an MK, your life has been full of unique opportunities, highs and lows, cross-cultural experiences, and multiple transitions. ReBoot is an opportunity to process with other MKs, receive vital tools, and be filled with hope for your next season. This is a Canadian program, but open to US-based MKs as well.
More Network also offers a Wilderness ReBoot program for MKs ages 21 - 35 years old.
Thanks to a generous memorial donation designated for MKs, a small grant program helps MKs who have lived cross-culturally attend a transition/re-entry program in their passport countries.
