Safe Driving Club

Welcome to the Safe Driving Club!

Members of this club will aim to educate other students and the community how to promote safety while driving. Students will partner with Hackensack Meridian Health Hospital to promote seat belt safety for all passengers of the car.

Each year Westwood High School students are involved in a safe driving program in collaboration with Hackensack University Medical Center, State Farm Insurance, and the "U Got Brains" organization to raise awareness about the importance of wearing seat belts and empowering our future drivers to embrace safe driving habits. We collaborate with dozens of local high schools in our area and many more across the state. After competing with other schools, we received 90% or Above Overall Percent of Seatbelt Usage. We cannot wait to be a part of this program again this year!
