Late Kindergarten Registration

Late Kindergarten registration for the 2018-2019 School Year Has Begun!

The Westwood Regional School District held regular Kindergarten registration from January 15 - 25, 2018. All registrations initiated after that time period are considered "late registrations."

A child residing in the Borough of Westwood or Township of Washington who will be five (5) years old on or before October 1, 2018 is eligible to enter Kindergarten. There are no exceptions to that date.

The district will make every effort to place students in their “neighborhood” schools; however, due to possible over-enrollment, the district cannot guarantee at which district school—Berkeley, Brookside, George, Washington—your child will be placed. Late registrants especially run the risk of not being placed at the neighborhood school. School placement letters are sent to parents/guardians mid-May.

Parent/guardian orientations will be held at each elementary school on June 4 at 1:30 p.m. in the respective schools.

Separate screenings will be held on the following dates:

June 11-Washington

June 12-George

June 13-Brookside

June 14-Berkeley

Both your online registration confirmation and the documentation checklist to the left must be attached to your packet at in-person registration. Missing documentation will delay your child’s registration! Registration packets may also be picked up at the Board of Education Office.
