Welcome to Room 110!
Welcome to Room 110. I am excited to be working with the students of the Westwood Regional School District again this year.
This year we will be a year of continuous self-exploration. Each student will be challenged and tested on a daily basis.
This September marks my 13th year of teaching and my 4th year in Westwood. I received my Bachelors in Psychology from the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, MA and my Masters in Special Education from Saint Joseph's University in Philadelphia, PA. When I am not teaching, I love to run, cook, and spend time with my husband and our three children. I look forward to a wonderful school year!
This year, we will be learning about...
- Managing Personal Finance
- Good Decision-Making
- Basics of Business
- Communicating with Others
- Creating Career Portfolios
- Digital Responsibility
- Responsible Citizenship
- Disability Rights and Responsibilities
- Social Awareness
- Personal Needs
- Relationship Responsibilities
Important Class Resources
Every student in my class is encouraged to reach for his or her highest potential. I stress to my students that each and every day is about striving for their "best" and the definition of "best" differs from person to person. Participation is key.
