I love teaching Fifth Grade! The kids inspire me every day to go above and beyond to meet their educational needs. I love to try new and creative techniques to keep students engaged and on task. My classroom is always filled with a lot of laughter and good cheer! My comfy chairs offers a comfortable, relaxed atmosphere where students feel right at home as they move through their day. I pride myself on promoting mutual respect within the classroom to create a learning environment where all students feel valued. Once kids feel valued the Sky's The Limit! The best way for kids to learn and actually own what they learn is through interactive, hands on learning. To achieve this I incorporate many projects into my curriculum to make the learning tasks authentic. By doing so, students actually learn through the process as opposed to memorizing information.
