Confluence House
Confluence House
Can a space simultaneously provide seclusion and foster connection? Drawing from my childhood memories of hiding in curtains- an act of finding seclusion with a clear connection to the world outside the window, I evoked the lightness of fabric in volumes creating nooks that open to the world beyond. Radiating volumes frame the landscape, contrasting with the sealed central space.
Meanwhile, the stalk-like cantilevers produce repetitive nooks, places for seclusion, shade, and comfort.
