Finding a way to pay for college can be intimidating, but you have several resources. The first step is to fill out Free Application for Federal Student Aid. (FAFSA). The FAFSA is used by colleges to determine your financial aid eligibility. EVERY SENIOR MUST fill out a FAFSA, because it is also used by colleges to determine grant and scholarship eligibility. For students who will be attending college in 2026, you are eligible for FREE COMMUNITY COLLEGE. The only way to apply for this program is through the FAFSA. So all in all, FILL IT OUT!
The FAFSA will be released October 1st, 2025 for the 2026-2027 school year.
In addition to the FAFSA, there are other ways to find money for your postsecondary plans. Scholarships from outside organizations and the local scholarships that are available to John Glenn students only.
