Mrs. Meehan is excited to begin her sixth year of teaching at Colonia Middle School. She graduated from Kean University in 2020 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematical Science with a K–12 Teacher Certification. In 2022, she earned her Master’s Degree in Secondary Education from Grand Canyon University.

A lifelong resident of Woodbridge Township, Mrs. Meehan is proud to be an alumna of both Colonia Middle School and Colonia High School. She also comes from a family of educators who have taught a variety of subjects and grade levels. Her passion for education continues to grow as she enjoys discovering new and creative ways to deliver instruction, enhance the quality of her lessons, and make learning mathematics more engaging and enjoyable for her students.

Outside of school, Mrs. Meehan enjoys attending concerts, reading, cooking/baking, and spending time with family and friends. She especially loves spending time with her husband and son, Colin, and playing with their dog, Jax. Some of Mrs. Meehan’s favorite things include music, spending time with friends, a binge-worthy Netflix show, and, of course, good food!

Mrs. Meehan is a huge fan of the fall season and everything that comes along with it! She loves all things pumpkin, cozy fall days, and, most of all, football season. On Sundays you can often find her cheering on the New York Giants. She looks forward to another wonderful year of learning, growing, and making memories with her students!
