Meet Mrs. Williams

Hi!  My name is Michelle Williams and I am the vocal music teacher at Lynn Crest Elementary School #22.  This is my 10th year of teaching and at Lynn Crest.  Growing up, I always loved two things, singing and school.  As my passion for music grew through middle and high school, it was my music teachers, voice teachers, and directors  that inspired me to be a music teacher myself.  I went to Westminster Choir College in Princeton, NJ where I studied with top educators and sang in world renowned choirs.  While at Westminster, I performed in Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, The Kimmel Center, The UN, and in the Spoleto festival in Charleston, SC.  I can be found in Andrea Bocceli's Central Park Concert DVD along with several choral recordings.  After college, I began my job at Lynn Crest.  also have a Master of the Arts in Music Education degree from Montclair State University.  Along with teaching in school, I also music direct Colonia High Schools' musicals every spring.  I also be found spending my summers at Kids & Teens in the Park summer camp.  As you can see, I LOVE sharing my passion of music with others and am so lucky to call singing with kids my job.

My husband, Brian, is also a music teacher at Robbinsville High School. When I'm not making music, I love to bake, peloton, see Broadway shows, and snuggle up with my two cats, Nutmeg and Biscotti.
