Class overview

The class is designed to engage students in critical thinking, listening and communication skills, self and community awareness, the analysis of conflict and its resolution, cultural appreciation, the recognition of issues of equality, bias and stereotyping and what individuals’ responsibilities are as community members and global citizens. Our goal is to challenge students to delve into their own experiences to solidify their sense of self as an individual and member of the broader community by analyzing their own behaviors and attitudes.
