Widefield High School has an esports Team
Widefield will be competing in the Colorado High School Fall 2023 Rocket League season. We will field a Varsity and Junior Varsity team. All prospective team members will have to meet the district's student-athlete requirements. This includes weekly grade checks and attendance to all team practices, matches, and activities.
Grade Checks/Eligibility: Two or more 'F's' in any classes will result in ineligibility for the following week's competitions.

Starting in the 2019-20 school year, CHSAA began to pilot esports as a competitive activity. Widefield High School is working towards the sponsorship and support competitive of esports teams at the high school level. Rocket League is currently the only game the WHS esports club is offering.
