Sphero

Sphero

Astronauts are trying to navigate their droid (Sphero) through the universe. The droid comes across many obstacles along the way. Can you program the droid to accomplish the tasks below?

Traveling the Galaxy

Students will need to code the Sphero to travel around and outside of the galaxy. Once out of the galaxy, the Sphero will need to navigate past two large satellite systems to reach the end and earn their points. Students will earn points based on how far they make it through the maze.

Find the Wormhole

Students will need to code the Sphero to make it into the correct wormhole to send them to another galaxy. Depending on which wormhole they land in will determine how many points they receive. Students will be given 3 tries to score points.

Asteroid Attack

Students will need to code the Sphero to knock down some of the asteroids (bowling pins). You are awarded points based on how many asteroids you are able to knock down. Each asteroid knocked down is worth 1 point. Students will have 3 opportunites to accumulate points based on how many asteroids are knocked down.

Transport your team

Students will need to code the Sphero to knock some of your team members (balls) into the goal for transport. Each ball is worth 5 points. Students are given as many tries as they like to get as many balls into the goal as possible.
