Weber High Quarters and Cans
2024
As the season of giving approaches, we have the opportunity to come together as a community and help those in need through Weber High’s yearly tradition: Quarters and Cans! The Student Government team, along with other clubs at Weber High, work together with our local partners to support those experiencing hardship in our Weber Community. Every year we raise money to cover expensive medical bills, provide food and holiday gifts, and assist with other hardships faced by Weber Community families.
Service is one way that students at Weber High become Warriors United. Since the founding of Weber High School in 1926, serving our community during the holiday season has been a staple of the Weber High experience. If you’ve ever resided in our Weber Community, or are a Weber High alum yourself, we hope the idea of Quarters and Cans sparks fond memories of service, giving, and a sense of community.
What your money goes toward:
Paying off large medical bills for families.
Providing food for those in need.
Providing holiday gifts for specific families within our community.
This year we need your help to reach our goal of raising $70,000. We also are seeking products or services that can be donated as gifts to families in need or that can be auctioned to the community to alternatively raise funds.
Remember that every cent of your donation will go to the Weber Community. We have been able to, and continue to, work toward improving the lives within our community through these donations. If you happen to have any questions or would like further information, you are welcome to contact the head of Weber High Student Government, Kaitlyn Kolilis, at kakolilis@wsd.net.
