Grinch Auditions and Cast List

Thank you so much to everyone who auditioned last week! I was so amazed at the amount of talent I saw from all of you! I apologize for the delay in posting the results.

That is in part due to the fact that we had so many kids audition for Cindy-Lou Who and it has been such a hard choice! But it is also due to the fact that I have had technical difficulties with the website, but we are back up and running! So- the full solo list should be posted this evening! Everyone that auditioned will receive a solo part. However, please know that while I have done my best to put everyone in a part that I felt was best suited for them, it may not be their first choice.

The Grinch: Tyke Johnson

Max the Dog: Leah Hess

Cindy Lou -Who: Alexa Baldwin

All of you deserve a giant HIGH FIVE though for auditioning! You are all AMAZING!!!

Christmas Music 2018

Hello parents and students!

Thank you so much for giving me the opportunity to teach your kids in choir! I am so excited about the AMAZING turnout we had at our first rehearsal (+75 kids), and the talent that I saw from these kiddos! We are just gonna blow you away with our upcoming concert :)

Country View Choir Christmas Concert

December 19 6:30- 7:30 PM

in the Country View Elementary Gym

With the limited time we have to rehearse, I would greatly appreciate your kids practicing our music at home. We are doing a program of

"How the Grinch Stole Christmas." This is NOT a full play, but more like a reading of the Grinch with some songs thrown into the story. Here are some links to lyric videos for the songs we will be learning:

Here is a link for the script we will be using for our Grinch reading:

We will be holding auditions on November 28 for different solo parts . Because of the high interest in solo parts, I feel it would be best to have sign-up times. That way, we won't have 50 kids waiting to audition at the same time.
