This presentation can be used to learn more about assessments that include all three dimensions of the standard. 

The second part of the presentation walks teachers through evaluating assessments for the three dimensions and if needed, making necessary corrections. 

The goal is to allow teachers to learn skills necessary so that they can adapt their own assessments used during instruction. 

The purpose of the Science Assessment Pre-screener is to conduct a quick review of assessments. 

Teachers can determine if they reflect the Arkansas K-12 Science Standards. 

The prescreen is intended to reveal whether assessments include red flags-i.e., challenges commonly found in science assessments. 

These assessments are written to reflect the three dimensions of the standards by science consultant Paul Anderson. 

They can be used as classroom assessments or lessons (if guided by the teacher).
