Liz Jamieson is a Certified Business Advisor with the WA Small Business Development Center. She owned a website design and development firm for many years, where she began to coach entrepreneurs in branding, sales, and marketing. There, she worked on the online presence, collateral, and copy for over 100 different small businesses.

Application deadline: Oct. 14, 2021. A total of $6 million in grant funding is available. Small businesses will receive a $10,000 monetary grant. Eligibility criteria include:
Established business operations for 3 or more years.
25 or less full-time and part-time employees
At least 51% owned and operated by a person of color

The Coalition to Back Black Businesses is a multi-year initiative to support Black small business owners and the communities they serve as they recover from the COVID-19 pandemic and chart a path forward. Small businesses are critical parts of communities – the strength of these businesses is essential to the recovery of their communities.
