Career Training

1. Cooperative Education at the area's Career and Technical Centers

      • Co-op (Cooperative Education) is offered for students who have achieved specified competencies within RTCC courses and HACTC courses; then students are recommended for placement in a business in the community. These jobs are often paid; see Tech & Career Centers (link) for an overview.

2. Apprenticeships

      • For detailed information about Apprenticeships, review the links below. The interest is growing in this type of career training to create a skilled workforce sooner. Often businesses will pay for further education of students who have successfully completed an apprenticeship program. For instance, Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center is proactively offering apprenticeships related to the medical field. Contact the CBL Educator for more information.
