Stockbridge Central School offers highly qualified staff in a public school setting.

Hours of operation are:

Monday-Friday

7:45am - 3:00pm

*Currently (see below for possible changes),

3 year olds attend:

• Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday
• 7:45am to 12:00pm

4 year olds attend:

• Monday-Friday
• 7:45am to 3:00pm

Our mission is to offer families in the Pittsfield and Stockbridge area quality Pre-K education through engaged play, nature and curriculum based programs that focus on the individual student needs while encouraging independence, kindness and engaging group activities.

Some of the special activities offered by SCS Pre-K include-

• Forest Fridays, where children can see, notice and wonder about things in a natural setting.
• Skiing at the Suicide Six Ski Area on Mondays from January to March.
• And an awesome new playground that focuses on gross motor play, balance and coordination!

*We are currently exploring after school programs for three to five year olds.
