TPS Art Studio
Empowering students through art + design to be creative, innovative and thoughtful individuals
2019 - 2020
Dear Student and Family,
I’m so excited to be a member of the Princeton community and I’m thrilled to be beginning my third year here at TPS. Last year was amazing and I have no doubts this year will be too!
I’d like to share a little information about myself. I was born and raised in Princeton, Massachusetts and attended Thomas Prince School K-8. Attending Mrs. Cook’s art class was always a highlight of my week. Having a creative outlet helped me to discover who I was and where I wanted to go. After graduating from Wachusett Regional High School, I pursued a career in graphic design and attended Champlain College in Burlington, Vermont. Immediately after graduating I began my design career in the advertising department at Staples Corporate Headquarters in Framingham, Massachusetts which led me to a design and development position at Worcester Polytechnic Institute. I loved the creative aspect of my career, but longed for a more purposeful path that connected me back to children and their self-discovery. My husband, Tom and I recently celebrated our second wedding anniversary. We reside in Rutland with our English Bull Terrier, Cisco, and our five chickens.
It's so wonderful to be back with the amazing students that make Thomas Prince School so special. It’s thrilling to be part of a STEAM-focused school which promotes collaboration, communication, and appreciation for diversity.
Please don’t hesitate to contact me if you have any questions or concerns.
