During the first semester, the Wright City High School and Elementary campuses have been visited several times by Tom’s Travelin Coffee and Kona Ice. These visits always bring a sense of excitement to the school and create fun experiences for students and staff.
Tom’s Coffee most recently visited the High School Nov 7. During this visit, they not only offered their regular flavors, but they also served their seasonal winter drinks. The seasonal flavors were a big hit; they gave students and staff a great opportunity to warm up with their favorite drinks.
“It was really yummy, and they were really quick making the order I got,” Says Isabella Littrell, a student at Wright City High School.
Kona Ice visited the district frequently during the warmer months. As the seasons changed, they continued their visits into the fall, where students and teachers got to try their seasonal fall flavors. The school district plans to resume Kona Ices visits in the spring once the weather warms up.
“Kona Ice has tons of fun flavors, and they’re all really good. My favorite flavor is tiger's blood. It's bright red and tastes amazing”. Says Emma Rapa, a student at Wright City High School.
The experiences provided by Kona Ice and Toms Coffee are just a small part of what makes the high school experience memorable. These businesses help bring a stronger sense of community into not just the high school, they bring a sense of community to the whole district. Whether they are serving staff before meetings or providing their services to students at lunch, they are making a positive impact on the district.
