The Wright City trap shooting team was well-prepared and ready to give their best effort as they approached their competition on April 24. The team had been working hard to improve their skills and was eager to showcase their progress.
Mallory Bruno-O'leary, the team's experienced coach, played a significant role in preparing the students for the event. When asked about her approach to getting the team ready, Bruno-O'leary said, "We were always working on improving our scores and our shooting accuracy. I thought everyone had room for improvement in their accuracy, but overall, we were a solid team, and I believed everyone really tried their best. I liked seeing the improvement throughout the season because our participants were always growing and improving."
Setting goals was an essential aspect of staying focused and motivated. When asked about her goals for the team, Bruno-O'leary replied, "One goal I had for our team was to try our best at each practice and competition." As for her personal goal, she said, "One goal for myself was to be more supportive and helpful to the participants."
The Wright City trap shooting team's dedication and preparation had them well-positioned for success heading into the competition.
