The Warren County Art Show was a collaborative effort between Wright City High School, Warrenton High School, and Black Hawk Middle School. It allowed students to showcase their artwork from the past year.
Parents attended the event to see their children's creations and celebrate their achievements, with some students earning awards for their hard work.
Several Wright City students, including Ella Haynes, Veda Bollenbach, Suhan Mir, Gigi Nesler, Lauryn Stephens, Addison Goodin, and Triston Flotron, received honorable mentions at the art show.
"This art show, as well as others, can provide opportunities to win ribbons and prizes, which can help make the students look good on scholarship applications and job applications," said Chizmar, the Wright City High School art teacher.
Chizmar also noted that the art show is an excellent way to encourage a competitive spirit and motivate students to push themselves harder.
The Warren County Art Show was an excellent experience for students and parents. It offered a fun and engaging platform for students to display their artistic talents.
