The Wright City Athletic Boosters, unwavering in their commitment to bolster Wildcat athletes and activities, announces a groundbreaking partnership with the Wright City R-II School District.
This collaborative endeavor is geared towards enhancing the facilities at the upcoming new high school, with a specific focus on outfitting the weight room with cutting-edge equipment to elevate the training experience for student-athletes.
In alignment with the District's pursuit of excellence, the Athletic Boosters have pledged to cover a substantial portion of the estimated $80,000 cost for the new equipment. This dedicated commitment amounts to an impressive $40,000, underlining the Boosters' dedication to fostering a top-tier athletic environment for the students. The initiative has received unanimous approval from the Board, setting the stage for an exciting fundraising campaign that kicked off at Courtwarming.
As part of their fundraising efforts, the Boosters are introducing a unique opportunity for community members to contribute and leave a lasting mark at the new high school. Engraved pavers will be offered, and the proceeds will directly contribute to the purchase of new equipment. Working in collaboration with Dr. Chris Berger, Superintendent and District architects, the Boosters have identified prime locations for the engraved pavers, starting with the stadium entrance.
The available engraved paver options include:
- $150 for a 4in x 8in Paver with 3 lines and 18 characters/spaces per line.
- $300 for an 8in x 8in Paver with 6 lines and 18 characters/spaces per line.
- $500 for a 12in x 12in Paver with 6 lines and 18 characters/spaces per line.
To facilitate seamless contributions, all purchases can be made through the Wright City R-II website, ensuring transparency. A designated account line will be maintained for reporting purposes, providing stakeholders with clarity on the utilization of funds.
For those eager to make their mark and support this transformative initiative, the engraved pavers can be purchased online.
