Nesler emphasized the significance of volunteering in the healthcare field, “It is so important to volunteer in the healthcare field because any extra help they receive is very much appreciated.”

Their involvement in volunteering extends beyond the school, benefiting not only the participants but also the community at large.
Weber offers advice for aspiring volunteers, “I recommend people start small and do things within their school. Then once you have some experience, call around to some places. I have found that many assisted living homes need volunteers and have many things for you to do.”
The act of helping others not only brings happiness and comfort to the community but also fosters friendships and bonds among like-minded individuals.
Nesler expressed her joy in seeing her HOSA team succeed, “Watching my HOSA team succeed has been my favorite part. As a team, we have become so close, and I have bonded with people I would not have ever imagined talking to. I love our teamwork skills as a HOSA chapter.”
The commitment of Nesler and Weber to volunteerism resonates with the core values of the Wright City R-II School District, emphasizing empathy, kindness, and a sense of responsibility towards others.
