Season Wrap up:
The WCI Vikings junior girls basketball team had an impressive and hard-fought season in WCSSAA’s highly competitive Pod A division. Finishing with a solid 6–6 record and a .500 winning percentage, the Vikings proved to be a tough opponent for every school they faced. Scoring a total of 403 points across the season, the team showed strong offensive chemistry and determination, often battling closely with top-ranked programs like KCI and GCI. Despite ending on a two-game losing streak, the Vikings displayed consistent growth, teamwork, and resilience throughout the year—qualities that made them one of the most exciting mid-table teams to watch. Their balanced performance on both ends of the court, along with strong leadership and rising young talent, set a positive tone for future seasons as WCI continues to build its reputation as a competitive force in WCSSAA basketball. Every person on this team should be very proud of themselves for the hardwork, talent, and teamwork they have accomplished this season. CONGRATULATIONS VIKINGS!!!
