Hello everyone!
My name is Parastoo Ghaffari and I teach with some AMAZING educators at Parkway Public School in Cambridge, Ontario. My passions in life are travelling, learning, and climbing something very high. As an educator, I love to learn new ways to make learning both fun and accessible for everyone! My goal is to create a safe, and empowering learning space for scholars through collaboration and student voice.
I realize that teaching your child is a privilege, as well as a tremendous responsibility. I look forward to your partnership in your child’s learning experience so that they will be able to achieve their fullest potential. We are a wonderful class of grade 4/5 learners, myself included!
In our classroom community, we celebrate what makes us different and promote a growth mindset learning environment, where we value challenges as learning opportunities and find there isn't always one way of doing something!
In our class we will be using google classroom and other tech tools to enrich and engage student learning, and also to increase parent involvement in the learning process. Please follow us on here our classroom website for some of our monthly highlights. I hope to use this site to outline some of the learning we are doing as well provide you with some resources that we reference in class!
