Since the start of semester two, the McCall News website has experienced some changes. This is fantastic, because we are staying modern and up-to-date! However, they can be befuddling, so we wanted to make sure you understood all of them. This new adjustments include many new pages, moved articles, and more.
The first noticeable difference in our website is the addition of the Around School page. We do realize that our home page was becoming quite crowded! To fix this, we made this new page. Any articles we write that are related specifically to McCall are now published there. Some older articles have also been brought to that page.
Second of all, we have another page, called Quizzes. This one is not quite as new as our Around School page, but it is very fun! Personality quizzes and polls are available there. Some of our old polls have been transferred to the Quizzes page, too. Every response you put in will be collected in our database of answers, which is open to the public. However, nobody can see who put what response, so it is partly private.
Also, a more subtle change is our home page logo. This does not change much about readers' experience of our website, but it definitely looks different. Now, instead of our slogan being put under our title, it is above. This shift looks very nice.
Finally, you may have noticed that we mentioned articles moving from our home page to a new section frequently in this article. That has certainly occurred a lot in this past month. However, one article has changed from old section to old section! Conlangs, by Alfredo Solar de la Fuente, was recently moved from Short Stories to our classic home page.
Overall, our website has had so many wonderful innovations recently. The McCall Newspaper staff has worked hard to make the site more organized and fun than ever. We dearly hope that you found this article helpful and intereresting! If you have any feedback, the newspaper's contact information is listed below.
