Introduction
The McCall's bell system was really wonky after students got back back from February break. Nothing about it made sense. Why would the school want to change our bell? An explanation for this has yet to be unearthed, but we still kept track of the happenings around the mysterious issue.
Timeline
Monday, February 26th - The bell was very quiet, and only went off in the hallway. It was a strange, electronic tone. Nobody liked it, and the teachers were irritated by how quiet it was.
Tuesday, February 27th - This bell was different. It worked everywhere, but many still found it not loud enough. The sound was broken and irritating. Some students said that they preferred Monday's bell, but they still wish it never changed.
Wednesday, February 28th - This next bell worked in all rooms, and was loud enough, if not too loud at first. It sounded kind of like a piano, and the tone played three times. Most people agreed that it was a decent bell. The question was, though... would it last?
Thursday, February 29th - The new bell had remained! Now at a perfect volume, the piano-esque sound was here to stay. It played in all of the necessary rooms, and was on time.
Conclusion
I do not know if this bell change was necessary, but we are definitely all grateful that this ordeal is over. People are arriving and leaving class on time, with no confusion. Hopefully, no more adjustments will occur.
