Every year, middle school students scramble to buy the trendiest new products. The past couple semesters, those ranged from expensive Stanley's to even more expensive Lululemon outfits. As the school year comes to a close, I have decided to look at the evidence from 2023-2024 and predict the trends that will be flourishing during our upcoming school year.
First of all, White Fox hoodies are going to skyrocket in popularity soon. We have seen more and more of them in the McCall hallways throughout the past couple months. That shows that students are increasingly noticing the product. White Fox hoodies seem to have a similar style to Lululemon, too, which everyone already loves. Since hoodies are better for the cold, they may not totally catch on until late fall. Still, they are set up for success.
Another possible trend for next year is the Owala water bottle. Similar to White Fox hoodies, many students have been using these water bottles at school recently. They threaten to replace Stanley's' stardom, but have not become as much of a phenomenon yet. Over the summer, when we are all needing more water, these bottles' sales may increase. Also, if the Owala company ups their marketing game, they could become more successful. As seen with the Stanley, paying influencers to advertise the Owala could be helpful.
Lastly, the album Short n' Sweet is going to become a sort of trend. Of course, albums are not really "products," but they can be popular fascinations. Sabrina Carpenter's new album will definitely will be one of those. Since it will have just come out when school starts, all of her numerous fans at McCall will be ready to talk about it at school. Also, people (especially trend-following teens) love listening to music that people in their community listen to.
It would certainly be smart to look into these products. If you do, you will be prepared for the school year! There will be obviously more trends that come along soon. Those will be revealed as the school year approaches! I hope that this information was interesting, and helpful if you would like to use it!
