It's hard to believe that Santa is called different ways across the world. To us, his one and only name is Santa Claus! Places around the world can even call him things that you would have NEVER thought, but to them, it's perfectly normal and Santa Claus is weird to them.
In Portugal, he is called Pai Natal
In Brazil, people call him Papai Noel
In Iraq, Santa's name is Baba Noel
In Iran, it's Bābā Noel
In Turkey, his name is Noel Baba
In Finland, his name is Joulupukki, which literally translates to 'Yule goat'.
In El Salvador, is the closest name to Santa's here in America. They call him Santa!
In Cuba, his name is also kind of close to America's way of calling him, Santa Cló
In the Philippines, his name is Santa Klaus. That's really close to how we call him!
In South Korea, his name is 산타 할아버지, which translates into Santa Grandfather
In Italy, Babbo Natale
In France, Père Noël
In Spain, Papá Noel
In Mongolia, Өвлийн өвгөн whcih translates into Grandfather Winter
In Austria, St. Nikolas or Nikolo
