The Internet is one of the most common and important things for teenagers now. However, useless apps are not helpful to students. Here are some useful apps to help you manage your iPad better.
Chat GPT: This is a new app from the AI section. It contains abundant technology that can help you quickly figure out anything you need. This is better than the search engine because it can quickly and directly bring you the response to your questions. You can download this on your phone or your iPad. I think the iPad’s version is better than the phone’s, though, because it is bigger and has a lot of space to download. Here are some of this app’s functions: Image generation– This helps create the image or background you want. Photo upload–you can give the chatbot a picture and have it used in various tasks. Tailored advice–the chatbot can give its opinion on how to proceed in various situations. Personalized learning– The chatbot explains questions and answers, and processes them clearly and easily. It asks and gives an amazing explanation. Professional input–it can help you brainstorm a map or a business plan. Instant answers–get some suggestions of ingredients when you only have a few. My favorite part of this app is that you can just say the things you want to ask Chat GPT. You don’t need to type or think for a lot of time to describe, just say your word and check the response! Also, you can decorate the homepage on your own, too. But the important point is, don’t rely on this too much; you could get a bad grade because of this. If you just copy the essay that it gives you, your teacher could be extremely mad. When Chat GPT writes an essay, it just combines all the ideas that are on the internet and gives you a “wonderful” paragraph. You could use this to check your answer for, say, a really hard Math problem, not writing the essay for you.
Art workout: Learn How To Draw: This is an app for those who love to draw. It can support you in training better skills in Art. For the beginner, you can copy the picture from online and draw it. You may change different colors for the same picture. Just be creative! It also has lessons for you. When you are bored, take out this app and start studying Art! It is also a free app, so you can enjoy drawing and creating. The reason why it’s better on the iPad is that some iPads have Apple Pencils. You can draw with this pencil and also have a larger space. On the website, these are some of the abilities that they have to be able to make you succeed: It has Step-by-step guides, and it’s easy to learn. It has almost 500 lessons and is suitable for kids, adults, beginners, and pros. Interactive courses in Doodling, Sketching, Drawing, Painting, and Handwriting. The drawing tips and tricks are really fun. I am not interested in Art, so I have not tried this before. But one of my friends says that it can give you a certain amount of level to evaluate your drawing. When I listen to it, I think the fun and coolest part is that you can draw on an iPad! It may sound a little silly, but it is better than on paper. For paper, you can only draw with colored pencils or markers, also you can't draw a straight line. But for iPad, there are a lot of tools you can use to make your drawing more beautiful! You can download anything you draw on the iPad and even print it out. But the problem with this app is that all the high levels require payment. Some good artists already know the free lessons; they need to learn a high level of drawing skills. But high levels need money, so this is a bug for Art Workout: Learn How to Draw.
YouTube: Everybody knows YouTube. Teachers like to watch YouTube to teach lessons, and students can use this to post videos and also study. You can learn a lot of skills on YouTube. There are things you cannot imagine and things you can imagine. Of course, this is a relaxing app too. If you are tired, you can just watch YouTube shorts on this app. You can use this on an iPhone, iPad, or smartwatch. But I think the iPad is the best because it has a big screen. It protects your eyes. You can see what the world is watching -- from the hottest music videos to what’s popular in gaming, fashion, beauty, news, learning, and more. Subscribe to channels you love, create content of your own, and share with friends! You can do anything you want on this app–listen to music, learn new skills, and post new things! Also, you can subscribe to people and support people who don't have a lot of subscriptions. Some shows are wonderful, but there are just no subscribers to subscribe to these shows. Of course, this is also a free app. You don’t need to pay any money for this app, even though it has wonderful videos. If you can’t see some great old TV shows on Netflix or TV, you can watch this on YouTube! But there are also some problems, the ads are too long and always appear. Some people don’t like this because maybe they think they are watching an exciting point, and ads appear. This part is annoying. Also, the ad stays long, so it is not good for people watching short videos. But YouTube is great, so enjoy it and have fun with it.
Google: Everybody knows Google! It is the most major search engine in America. Ask Google when you are not sure, it always gives you the correct answers! If you are using your iPad to study, you NEED to download Google. It is good for your eyes because it has a bigger screen, also you can switch tabs with your finger, it’s easy! You can decorate your homepage, and of course, switch languages! “I respect, applaud, congratulate, support, represent, and advertise for Google as a whole over every application.” A comment below says. That also shows Google is the best and free app that people can download. You can bookmark after you are done reading an article if you like it. For those who are lazy, you can use voice search, just like Chat GPT! You don't need to type or think, just say what you want to say and adjust! But, as I said, for Google, you need to find a reliable website and do research. Because it is not Chat GPT, you need to find a website that is comfortable for you and study. So, you need to think about whether you want Google or ChatGPT. But you can download both, too. You can compare one and another, see if they have the same answer or not! Also, it has an awesome security system. You can set your password to Google! You can also block all the websites you don’t like, but it’s not healthy. But the bug or issue is that if you are updating this app, you need to close your tab first. If you don’t, when it is updating, your window or the most main part could be all closed. So be careful with that, or you can just bookmark all the important things you want.
Duolingo: This is a study app. You can learn different languages, Math, or music on this app. There are over 40 languages you can learn every day! The part that most of the kids like is playing video games! There are little parts that can help children understand more of the language or Maths, or even Music! “With its friendly approach and awesome updates, Duolingo’s long been one of our favorite apps for learning another language. It's a secret: making the process genuinely fun. Engaging mini-games test your reading, writing, and speaking skills, and joining a club adds a great social element. Bonus: all those languages and games are available for free!” When you ask people to describe Duolingo, they use a special paragraph to tell. For Maths, they make you first identify the pattern and then go to Maths, it’s better than only learning Maths! For Music, you can play on an iPad. Whether you are going to play flute or piano, or something else, you can always play on the iPad! There are different characters in Duolingo, they are all cute and snappy. For learning languages, it is the fastest way to learn. You can first look at the picture and then spell the word. Finally, you can spell the sentences! That’s why Duolingo is so helpful. But a bad issue for Duolingo is that it has a bad update. Just like Google, when you upgrade it, its picture and spelling can be wrong. They may tell you that you are wrong, but it’s their fault. It is wonderful overall, just one little tiny issue that stuck there. Now go try Duolingo and see if you can study another language besides English!
Roblox: As you can see, this is the third time I mentioned Roblox in the newspaper. That shows how important it is to have the game Roblox on your computer. The first thing people love is that you can dress your character however you want. Head to toe, your character could be beautiful after all! When you play on the phone, the Wi-fi could be super glitchy, even when you are at home. Also, the same reason that an iPad can protect your eyes is that it has a bigger screen. It has a lot of interesting creatures that make Roblox so wonderful: MILLIONS OF EXPERIENCES– there are different games in Roblox. You can choose whatever you want and play with it! EXPLORE TOGETHER ANYTIME, ANYWHERE–Roblox can be played on any device, such as Xbox, iPad, iPhone, or even Nintendo! BE ANYTHING YOU CAN IMAGINE– you can decorate your character, sometimes on some games, you can decorate another character that doesn't cost money! (But only used in the game), CHAT WITH FRIENDS– You can add friends on Roblox, you guys can play together and even chat like you normally do on phones! But there is an issue here: even though this is a free game to download, if you want those beautiful outfits, you need to pay to buy them. There is a coin called Robux. When you purchase the Robux, you can use it to buy anything you want, not only the clothes. Some people spend hundreds of dollars on it, but it is not good. You can still play without money, though! Many girls who play Roblox like the game DRESS TO IMPRESS. For Dress To Impress, you need to dress like the theme that is given to you and to be the top beautiful one.
Subway Surfers: I love Subway Surfers. It is a very fun app that you can download for free from the App Store. This game can train your responsiveness. On the website, it says it has a lot of cool stuff: You can grind trains with your cool crew, and it has colorful and vivid HD graphics, hoverboard Surfing, a paint-powered jetpack, lightning-fast swipe acrobatics, challenge and help your friends! Collect all the coins you can and try to beat the new high score. When you get a lot of coins, you can buy some characters you want or some hoverboard backgrounds you like! Also, there is not only one small game to play in this app. There are plenty of events that you can beat. Some events are really fun, you can earn hoverboards and coins in those games, even keys! Compared to other games, this game is super simple. You just need to dodge the sign, jump up for some signs, and don't get hit by the train! And of course, collect the coins as much as you can! This is also a world-famous game, its heart is the key to its stamina, revealed in loving details lavished on cities from Chicago to Shenzhen in its World Tours or the lovable ruffians awarded in its frequent events. Every game has some issue with free money, same like Subway Surfers. All the cool hoverboards and characters need money, even though you play this game for a long time, you still can’t get the skin. Also, when you want to get more keys and more coins in the mystery box, you need to watch ads. The ads can be super long, that’s an issue too. But, overall, Subway Surfers is a wonderful game to download on iPads.
Minecraft: Dream it, Build it! I didn’t mention Minecraft before in the Newspaper. But some elementary students still like to play these games. The thing that makes me unbelievable is that Minecraft is a paid game. When you saw the website, it landed in first place for paid games. First, when I look at the picture of Minecraft, it’s very creative, and it’s like it was built by ore. You can build houses, find gold and diamonds in the ground, and also fight the final boss in Minecraft! Even though I don’t know how to play Minecraft, it sounds fun that you can play with friends and explore the cave together. People say that Minecraft is life; sometimes, they just sit alone in the basement for hours on end playing this beautiful game. Also, Minecraft has a lot of different modes, you can join some party that people host, and also spend time alone to build your own house and fight with the final boss. In this game, you can build anything from the ground up. Craft from special resources and tools to create brand new structures and landscapes. Explore the opening world with your character's skin and weapons. Connect with millions of players on community servers, or subscribe to Realms Plus to cross-play with up to 10 friends on your private server. You can change the weather, summon mobs, change the time of day, and more! I think students like to play the survivor mode the most. Your goal is to stay to the last and fight with the monsters. Some people say that this is a great game, but only if they can add more animals to it. There are not that many, so when you add a lot more animals, you can catch them and even eat them!
Spotify: People love to listen to music on Spotify. This is a qualified app that you can use to listen to calm music and podcasts. I love Spotify because it’s free and has almost every single song in the world. You can add your favorite song to your playlist and listen to it when you are bored or when you are doing your homework. You can download this app on the iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, and even TV! But I like to listen to it on my iPad. I used to do my homework on an iPad, so when I'm doing it, I just play with it, and it makes me do my homework faster. Also, when you are playing games on an iPad, you can listen to them. It is a good way to relax at that time. There is not only your playlist or search bar on Spotify, but you can also see the daily songs and check out the top songs! You can listen to your favorite singer all day long and subscribe to the singer. There are over 40 category of music in this app: New Releases, Charts, Live Events, Made for You, At Home, Only You, Summer, Pop, Workout, Hip-Hop, Mood, Party, Pride, Dance/Electronic, Alternative, Indie, Equal, Wellness, Rock, Frequency, R&B, Disney,, Throwback, Radar, Chill, Sleep, In the car, Kids & Family, Caribbean, Classical, Romance, Jazz, Instrumental, Afro, Christian and Gospel and Country. You name it, get whatever music you like, and enjoy it! But some people say that there are too many ads between songs. When they listen to every two songs, there is an ad. Also, the ads are super long, you just want to enjoy it, but the ad brings you a little issue here. The good thing is it’s a free app!
Netflix: A lot of old TV shows are on this app. You can download this on TV. But I think the iPad is better because you can bring this often when you go on vacation. Find any section or TV shows you want to watch and open it, enjoy them! But the thing is, you need to create an account when you are on Netflix. I think creating the account is difficult because you need to ask a lot of questions about your parents, and they can get tired of that. When you are done creating, you can find your TV shows. Then add them to your favorite list and bookmark them. It’s helpful because you don’t need to find it again when you are watching that show next time. The best thing is, you can download some of the episodes and watch them anywhere, even without Wi-Fi! You can watch them on the airplane or when you are traveling. Also, they add TV shows and movies all the time. You can search for a title, and it brings you right away! The more you watch, the better Netflix gets at recommending TV shows and movies you’ll love. There are quick preview videos of their series and movies, and you can get notifications for new episodes and releases. But all the issues are about money. When you want to see a new game on Netflix, you need a membership to see it. But for membership, you need to purchase first. There are three-month memberships and even longer, but it’s only for a while. This is a free app, but some great and old TV shows need to be purchased. Also, Netflix doesn’t have so many TV shows now. Of course, you can purchase to watch, but some are not even available now. So, be careful when you download it, and check if your TV show is there.
In my opinion, these are some of the apps I enjoy and think are helpful for me to manage my iPad better. Finding bad apps is easy, but not for good apps. So go enjoy them and see if it’s your type! Here is a form you can fill out about your favorite apps!
