On March 13th, 2024, Dua Lipa announced her 3rd album! This incredible information is exciting for all of her fans. However, the news is so groundbreaking that it can become overwhelming. We have compiled all of the essential knowledge about this album, and it's creation, into one helpful numbered list.

1. The Cover: The cover of this exciting album is pretty strange. It is of a surprisingly peaceful photo of Dua treading in the ocean. However, a shark fin appears to be in the water with her. Many think that this is a reference to the album's title: Radical Optimism. This is because it is a positive image in a terrifying scenario.

2. The Inspiration: "A couple years ago, a friend introduced me to the term ‘radical optimism,'” Lipa said. “It’s a concept that resonated with me, and I became more curious as I started to play with it and weave it into my life.”

“It struck me – the idea of going through chaos gracefully and feeling like you can weather any storm,” she continued. “At the same time, I found myself looking through the music history of psychedelia, trip hop and Britpop. It has always felt so confidently optimistic to me, and that honesty and attitude is a feeling I took into my my recording sessions.”

3. The Track List: end of an era, houdini, training season, these walls, whatcha doing, french exit, illusion, falling forever, anything for love, maria, and happy for you. This creates a total of 11 new tracks! Houdini and Training season are already available on Spotify, and were both well-ranking hits. However, they are very different songs. We have yet to find out what this diversity means for the album.

4. The Merch: Tees, vinyls, cassettes, and more are already available on the Dua Lipa website's store. As of 3/18/23, her radical optimism exclusive deluxe vinyl (signed insert included) was already sold out!
